Basted and Fried Egg
- Coconut oil
- Other spices as desired, such as paprika, Aleppo pepper, za'atar, turmeric, etc.
More information: Heat coconut oil in a skillet over high. Crack egg into hot oil, season, and reduce heat to medium-high. Oil will splatter; do not wear silk blouse. Once the white has begun to solidify, tilt the pan toward you and use a large spoon to baste the oil over the top of the egg. Continue until yolk is just barely set. Remove from heat and eat.
